Cricket's Stalking Thread

So I'm kiiiiiinda a creep. And I kinda stalk your threads. All of your threads. It's kind of unnerving how much I know about plot-lines that I'll literally never be a part of~ ;u;

But I need to organize my stalking a little bit, so I'm making this thread to keep track of what I've read, and what I want to read. This is also very not done. I've simply lost some of the threads I read, and need to unearth them again.

If you have a thread you're particularly proud of, please post it. There are a lot of threads on Torrenta, and I'd obviously prefer to spend Stalking Time on threads you're proud of. ;u;

Alsooooo, if you're curious about my feelings about your thread in particular, and it says I read it or are currently reading it, I'm willing to share! I was tempted to add my thoughts after each one, but it seemed a little presumptuous to assumed you... idk, cared, so I didn't. xD

12 Years Better Late Than Never
So I originally came to this thread because I wanted to see what Pokemon he started out with. It was actually this thread that made me second-guess not choosing my own Pokemon lol. Not because Sunkern isn't absolutely adorable, but because I could FEEL THE DISAPPOINTMENT that was about to occur. Especially since I read this one after reading the one with Tanis.

At first I was actually really disappointed that you didn't actually release the 'kern in this thread, but in retrospect, I think that might have been my sole reason for beginning the next one. Your cliffhanger game is strong in this one.

The Hand That Feeds You
You have a darker style of writing than most. And I'm not actually just talking about the content. Like, of course having your arm chomped off is a little dark, but it's mostly in how you write it that makes it feel darker. The language you use and things (snot, drool, grime, hunger) you choose to describe make it more gritty to read, if that makes sense. I enjoy that.

This was one of the first threads I read from you, and while I could gather the history from your description (Riptide's scars, Dorian's feathers growing in), it was difficult for me to completely understand Riptide's motives/thought process during his attack. Was it revenge? Is he just screwed up from being abused? Does he just have uncontrollable violent tendencies? It wasn't clear to me right away. It took reading the aftermath (his explanation), and some other things for me to get a better understanding. To be fair, that's not... actually your fault. I shouldn't expect to open a book from the middle and immediately understand the history.

You did a good job conveying Bruce's thought processes though. I really enjoyed the flashback. It didn't make me feel BAD for him (I still think he's a garbage human and got what he deserved), but it did make me understand him better and possibly sympathize a little more, which I liked.

To Scrap and Build Oneself
I love this thread. It's my favorite one you've done that I've read. The idea of shuffling through your PC at those Pokemon you forgot about in an attempt to create a team is actually a really fun idea, and you wrote it in a really fun way.

I also really enjoyed meeting Rocco. He's so good-natured and adorable, and the accent is super fun. Though tbh if I see a thread where Bruce does ANYTHING to him, I'm gonna have to hold myself back from coming in and giving him a good wallop. I'm way too attached to that Pokemon, he can't be hurt. ;;
