RANGERS The Pokémon Rangers, defenders of the weak and powerless, dedicate their lives to protect and preserve the natural world. They aim to keep the environment and all its inhabitants safe from harm, including Pokémon in distress and trainers who may get lost or injured while exploring the wilderness. Whether they be fending off a forest fire, or saving a Pokémon from poachers or predators, the rangers will help all in need.
GENETIC Team Genetic believes in progress and advancement, no matter the cost. Constantly pushing the limits of our understanding, they aim to create a better, stronger Pokémon for the greater good. Many are, however, blinded by their ambition, and their means to achieve their goals can be questionable at best. This causes them to be secretive about their organization, picking and choosing their members and how they approach prospects.
NEUTRAL Not every trainer wishes to affiliate themselves with either Team Genetic or the Pokémon Rangers. Plenty of trainers, many of whom simply don’t wish to be involved with the politics of either group, instead choose to remain neutral. They tend to focus more on their own goals and ambitions, rather than worrying about what either group is doing. When wide-scale disputes surface between the two feuding groups, those who are neutral frequently choose to support one side over the other.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------classes
TRAINERS The path to greatness is a long path indeed, filled with obstacles and hardships. It’s a life of catching Pokémon and raising them to be fighters, and challenging gyms and trainers on the long road to the Elite Four. No one said the journey would be easy, but for one who truly wants to be the best – like no one ever was – the fight to the top is quite rewarding.+ TRAINER PERKS Upon defeating the Elite Four, trainers become champions of the region. They are also able to challenge the current reigning champion for his or her title.
BREEDERS Breeders tend to place more importance on raising Pokémon for health and friendship rather than purely for battling purposes. They carefully match and breed pairs of Pokémon in an effort to get the healthiest, strongest Pokémon to then raise to its fullest potential. Many breeders focus on proper Pokémon nutrition and grooming, while also proper care of Pokémon eggs.+ BREEDER PERKS Breeders can get one extra egg move on their bred Pokémon, and their Pokémon's cool down period is shortened by a week. For every badge earned, there is a 4% discount on rare breeding, up to a 20% discount when all badges are earned. Upon defeating the Elite Four, breeders get a 50% discount on rare breeding.
COORDINATORS Coordinators see more than just the potential strength in their Pokémon; they see the potential beauty as well. They place more importance in bringing out the beauty in each Pokémon’s abilities than getting physically stronger. Creativity, as opposed to strategy, is rewarded here as coordinators work with their Pokémon to come up with unique combos that fully use and exhibit their abilities.+ COORDINATOR PERKS Coordinators are able to participate in each city's contest and earn their respective ribbons. The first coordinator to win all five ribbons becomes the Head Coordinator of Torrenta. Each subsequent coordinator to win all five ribbons is able to challenge the Head Coordinator for his or her position.
SCIENTISTS Without innovation, there is no progress; without scientists, there is no innovation. Much is still unknown about the various Pokémon species and the mechanisms that enable evolution. Scientists spend their days observing Pokémon in their natural habitats or observing specimens in the lab. Constantly, they strive to further our understanding of the world around us.+ SCIENTIST PERKS Scientists are able to mine twice a week, as opposed to just once. For every badge earned, a scientist's chances of encountering a rare in the wild is increased by 2%, up to 12% for all five badges. Upon defeating the Elite Four, their chance of encountering a rare in the wild is increased to 20%.
