Confuse Ray – Whether it be for a distraction or just for the fun of it, Stephane releases a ray of light from her necklace which can inflict confusion.
Appearance:
As a Type C Misdreavus morph Stephane has Pokemon features in addition to the ability to shift into a Misdreavus. She has long dark blue hair which reaches her waist in length. The tips of her hair are naturally pink. She has long thick bangs with completely cover her forehead and the hair over her ears is also bright pink. The pink parts of her hair almost appear to be fake as though they were dipped. Her hair's unusual colors are thanks to her Misdreavus genes. Aside from her hair color Stephane also has eyes that closely resemble Misdreavus eyes. Her eyes are large and the sclera of her eyes is yellow and her pupils are pink. She always wears thick black eyeliner and black eyeshadow. Even though her eyebrows are hidden by her hair she keeps them fine and thin, ending in points. Her skin is pale and in the right light it shines. Stephane stands at 5'6 weighing 110 pounds. She a small nose and small lips which she always wears black lipstick on.
Stephane has a necklace with large red gems around her neck which is uncoincidentally the exact same necklace as all Misdreavus are known to have, she was actually born with it around her neck and it cannot be removed from her body. It's basically part of her anatomy, Stephane uses it to feed off the fear of those around her. Stephane actually prefers that method of eating to the normal method of chewing and swallowing food. Fear has zero calories. She wears thick dark pink wristbands and a dark purple tank top. She also wears black leather shorts that show the majority of her thighs while wearing knee high leather black boots. Her legs are long and slender. Stephane has very little muscle leaving her with thin arms and a tiny waist with small abs. Her bone frame is small which explains her small body features.
In her Misdreavus form she looks like a typical Misdreavus accept the pink parts of her hair are brighter.
Personality:
Stephane is a complex individual. A difficult past has left her with conflicting emotions. Her parents raised her on a pedestal leading her to believe that she is superior to normal humans and that she is entitled to all that she can get with her abilities. She is sadistic and will deliberately torment someone just to get a rush. She enjoys terrifying others and feeding off of their fear. She is not the friendliest person in the world, and probably not the most pleasant to be around. She is more or less evil and will push others away rather than try to befriend them. Stephane's fuck all attitude comes to surface when she feels like she's being defied or challenged. She does not appreciate people who stand in her way and believes people to just be around for her own amusement and for her to feed off their fear. This behavior though is just a front to a much softer personality. Stephane feels she is misunderstood in this new dimension and deep down she wants to belong. If she had just had at least one friend perhaps all this hate and anger wouldn't be fueling her pursuit of world conquest. Stephane wishes to fit in, but the problem is she doesn't know where or what to fit into and with whom she could fit in with.
Stephane almost always deals with any situation by taking control immediately and bending it to support her gain. She tries using her intellect on Pokemon to her advantage to get the most out of them, and what she doesn't know of a situation she can easily learn about simply by morphing and acting like one of them. Stephane somehow feels even more powerful and malicious while in her Misdreavus form, but sometimes she if she's in that form it means she's upset and wants to be left alone. She feels that if she can't live a normal life and be happy then nobody can and when she feels this way it's never good. She may order her Pokemon to attack people to feed off her fear. She will use pain split to make people feel as upset as her, and then feed off those feelings. She prefers to feed off emotions rather than actual food.
On a brighter day Stephane is timid, and actually pretty kind. This doesn't mean she's not still hurting inside, but she feels better on these brighter days. She will be more in the mood to explore and train her Pokemon, not focusing so much on work and trying to hurt others. She is a very shy girl even on her worst day and definitely will never approach another person and never speak to anyone unless she is spoken to. She has a fear of social interactions because the majority of social interactions she's been in, especially during her childhood were bad and the ending result was that people were more afraid of her then interested in being her friends. She loves to strike fear into people, but deep down a part of her hates it when they are scared of her. She'd much rather befriend someone that she could occasionally scare the hell out of and then turn around and be friendly towards.
Any and all situations are her way or the highway and if she doesn't get her way chaos will ensue as she will stop at literally nothing to ensure that she gets her way. This is her world after all and all everyone else does is take up space and get in her way. She is an all or nothing sort of person and feels incomplete when she only has accomplish part of something she set out to do for short term goal. She will never be satisfied with having something done unless it's completely finished. Anyone who dares cross Stephane MUST pay dearly, and that payment is whatever she says it is. It could lean towards either extreme and there really is no limit to what she will do. She'd have no problem with killing to get revenge.
If she feels like she is being treated nicely she will return the kindness, and anyone who does her a solid will definitely be re-paid. While she's not the best at making friends she may try anyway, but there is no guarantee this won't turn out badly. The thing with Stephane is despite her evil plans there is a part of her that wishes she didn't have to do this, but feels that it is the only way she can get attention. Deep down she just really wants to be normal. It's as though she is waiting for someone to give her a reason not to go through with this. She is a prisoner of her own misery, her own worst enemy.
Stephane will always try to find a logical explanation as to how something works, how something happened, the reasoning for a behavior and she will always try to back it up with science. There is a scientific explanation for everything, which is a very weird thought coming from a ghost type morph. Nonetheless she is very down to earth and isn't quick to believe something without checking it out herself. Word of mouth isn't enough for Stephane she needs facts, proof that something is what it is said to be. She is adventurous as she is always looking to learn more about the world. Alternate dimensions is not her only interests on study. She also enjoys the concept of Pokemon revivification and prehistoric Pokemon in general. She believes there are hundreds of prehistoric Pokemon that have not been discovered yet and is very excited at the thought of a prehistoric Pokemon world.
Stephane can be easy to talk to when a subject of interest is brought up. One might notice a different, less evil side of her if they take the time to sit down and have a conversation with her. Stephane has a brilliant mind and many theories about alternate dimensions, prehistoric Pokemon, and other Pokemon studies. A more logical, obtainable goal of hers is to become a Pokemon Professor and spend her life studying Pokemon. Maybe if she can overcome her demons someday this could happen.
History:
Mirror World:
Stephane was born in the Kalos Region of an alternate dimension to Duke Oscar Fiachra Beaulieu and his wife Bai Xiu Beaulieu. Her father gained his title through achieving a certain number of victories at the Battle Chateau during his youth. He is a type B Shuppet morph and the entirety of his income comes from being a Pokemon Trainer. Her mother Bai is a type A Misdreavus morph from Johto, and is a scientist. They met in Lumiose City at a Café and the rest is history. From an early age it was plain to see that Stephane had inherited her mother's intellect and therefore as soon as possible she began being homeschooled by her mother. Both of her parents were very good at what they did and therefore were able to provide their daughter with everything she ever wanted causing her to become a spoiled brat that took everything in the world for granted. Her early years of life were spent being educated by both her mother, father, and some of the best teachers the Kalos region had to offer.
She was raised on the idea that her good fortune came to her because she was a Pokemorph and that she deserved it because Morphs are superior to humans because of their Pokemon traits. She was encouraged to use her abilities as much as she possibly could to gain the edge in life, whatever the situation may be and was not disciplined for any of her actions pertaining to the use of her abilities by her parents. She was allowed to express her sadistic Misdreavus nature however she saw fit and wherever she saw fit, and regardless of what she did it was fine to her parents unless she crossed them, or if there was a chance they could get into trouble because of her actions.
When she turned ten years old her she received her first Pokemon from her father who caught the Pokemon especially for her while on his travels, and that was when her adventure began. She set out on her own adventure taking her companion with her and catching many other Pokemon along the way. She didn't attempt to face any Gym Leaders though as that wasn't important to her. Stephane wanted to take over the entire region so she could rule over it as its master. To achieve this she used her intellect rather than her Pokemon. She raised Pokemon for the fun of defeating opponents and feeling as though she were better than them for it. Seeing the expressions on their faces when she won gave her a rush. What Stephane was really after was power, and lots of it. So she made a journey to Geosenge Town as the lore of the town describes a device hidden under the small town that could grant her eternal life.
Having learned of the region's history at a young age, Stephane set out on a quest to find AZ's Ultimate Weapon in Geosenge Town and find a way to get the device to grant her the rather lengthy lifespan of its creator. When her intentions became clear to the residents of the small town when one of them caught her snooping around in the middle of the night she was chased out of Geosenge by the angry townspeople into Reflection Cave. The residents wouldn't pursue her into the cave not only because she was a ghost type morph who could use the lack of light against them, but because of the nature of cave's lore. While in Reflection Cave she discovered an opening to this world when she noticed her reflection was not following her as she walked along the mirror-like walls. Taking this as a chance to start out fresh in another world, meaning another Geosenge Town where the people weren't aware of her misdeeds was too good to pass up. Stephane reached into the mirror, pulled her unsuspecting, innocent counterpart out of her world, beat her half to death so there was no way she could follow her, and then entered the mirror into this dimension's Kalos region. She was absolutely astonished by how easy it was to fool her, and beat her up. It was as though she was the polar opposite of herself. Dainty and docile, easy to dominate. Her counterpart didn't stand a chance.
This World-
After entering this world through the mirror Stephane found out that the people in her life were in fact polar opposites of what they were in the mirror world. Her family was poor, her mother was a lot less ambitious and was more of a house wife. She was kind and less snobby towards people and had no trace of supremacy in her attitude. She was friends with many people that despised her in Stephane's reality. Her father was a terrible battler and was infamous for this in the eyes of those that praised him for his skill in her world, he was meek, timid, and was the laughing stock of the entire town. Stephane returned home to find that another couple lived in her parent's mansion and was directed to a house in the suburbs where she discovered her parents were living the life of the average person, which meant in Stephane's eyes that they were poor. Stephane actually put her quest for immortality on hold and began to study the compare and contrast of the two dimensions and decided that she actually sort of liked this dimension a lot better, but only because she came to the conclusion that everyone she studied here seemed weaker and less intelligent to her therefore easier to dominate. That was when Stephane became deeply interested in the study of parallel dimensions, and began to study this world with hopes that she could use what she learned to get as many shots at gaining eternal life as possible.
She tried to blend in and behave like the Stephane of this world did by basically by being the exact opposite of herself, which was painfully hard for her to do. The Stephane of this world gained the title of Countess at the Battle Chateau explaining her title. Meanwhile, she was secretly organizing a plan to get back to Geosenge town and try to unearth AZ's Ultimate Weapon. If her theory of the device granting the giant man immortality was correct then she would make herself immortal next, and then convert it back to the ultimate weapon and make the entire Pokemon world bow before her, gaining the respect she deserves and striking fear into the hearts of all around her like a true Misdreavus should. She could simply continue to abuse Reflection Cave's bizarre power until she finally entered a dimension where her plans could work. She was literally experimenting with the universe itself and she thought herself a genius for it.
Her plans were thwarted when her parents moved out of the region to the land of Torrenta. In order to keep up her act she had to accompany them as she determined this was what the real Stephane would do. While in Torrenta she learned of Glitch City, an alternate dimension created by Team Genetic. Her next goal is to conduct research on this dimension while forming a team of Pokemon strong enough to use to dominate the trainers of the Kalos region so she can excavate the ultimate weapon of Geosenge Town and begin her global conquest as an immortal. It is here in this region that she will research Glitch City, learn how to create her own artificial dimension, return to the Kalos Region, put this dimension around Geosenge Town, and excavate the ultimate weapon without being interrupted. With her plans and research ready, she sets out on her quest to continue her research on alternate dimensions. The best place to learn a lot quickly would be at the Genetic HQ. She could work there as a scientist and that would grant her access to everything she needs to create her own glitch dimension.
